The Neue Grid series extends Berger & Föhr's exploration of new materials, techniques, and technologies to challenge convention and yield new, contemporary aesthetics. The works examine abstract geometric form creation within three constrained grid-based frameworks while embracing the precision and imperfection shared between man and machine. Part painting, part machine drawing, these 36 serialized monos are original, 1 of 1s in six compositional sets, each in six colors (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, White, Black) plus one of each set on acrylic mirror.
