︎ Background
Berger & Föhr are a multidisciplinary art and graphic design duo based in Boulder, Colorado. They have spent eighteen years side by side, engaged in a continuous state of contemporary creative production. Driven by the principle of "working as one," they share authorship across all of their works. The duality inherent to their partnership runs parallel to their practice, inspiring ideation and intersecting their output.

︎ Practice
Their multi-studio practice spans discipline, sector, and clientele. They create paintings, prints, and sculptures, brands, visual identity systems, zines, books, and printed ephemera, large-scale environmental graphics and murals, multi-media internet experiences, and digital and physical products. Concept-driven and reductive, Berger & Föhr's exploratory aesthetic is a byproduct of their backgrounds in graphic design. Their ever-adaptive point of view is the result of two minds striving for artistic synchronicity.

︎ Work
Berger & Föhr's art is the byproduct of a sort of transcendental therapy, a research-driven, process-focused, materials-exploration into the mystical power of graphic minimalism. Multiplanar and conceptually-motivated, their art questions assumptions, provokes introspection, challenges the notion of object as artifact, and aspires towards a new, more fluid sense of individual and collective perception.
